OP- I lived in base while working for JB and quit to be a commuter with FedEx. I was 30, married, with a kid. I was flying with CA's that were a few years older than me and also living in base. So, seniority list progression was a big factor in my decision. Also, JB flies monotonous routes and, coupled with the drive to/from the airport made for some exhausting days. Lastly, the pay was pretty low compared to my alternative. I didnt want to have to pick up VDA, sell back PTO, or live on Flica looking for open time. So I quit and have no regrats.
