No more MD crews in ANC. The recent system bid, (actually displacements are still in progress), will displace and relocate all of the ANC MD pilots by the end of the year ... FWIW.

I commuted from BDL for 5 years to ANC. 100% I was on company jets through SDF to get to ANC. 98% of the time I did the same to return to BDL. Occasionally caught the pax carriers out of SDF on a weekend andter a UPS flight from ANC.

There are other ways to commute, (EWR direct and possibly through RFD) but through SDF always offered the most flexibility and availability. I chose to keep it simple
