With regards to T&C/ Pay... What you are missing is the Tax advantage... The Contract under offer is "Net" of Japanese taxes... When you compare a USA Regional using APC numbers it looks a little like this, using simple numbers... 9E 10yr rate, 100 hrs, tax factor .7= 7210 USD... G7 10yr rate, 100 hrs, tax factor .7= 6370... IBX/FW 70hr guarentee commuting, 7630 USD plus allowances 220,000 Jpy... 2nd yr pay increases and Contract renewal pay rise...

By no way will one become wealthy under these T&C... Glad to here things have improved in the USA for the Small Jet drivers... However we had a new Driver join from Canada in 2018 and he got a huge pay rise due to the Tax Advantage compared to after tax in Canada... Like wise for several others from other parts of the world... For a USA driver it is my understanding with the tax credits in the USA with those offsets a USA driver will owe little or no taxes in the USA... Always consult with a tax pro, which drivers are not...

That's my take on the T&C/Pay compared to USA operator...
