Hey all, I start ATP-CTP next month and am coming in blind. Im trying to plan on what base I should bid for since I plan on moving there when I start flying. CRJ. Buddy it all depends on a few things.
1) are you going to move to whatever base you get? QOL will be drastically better if you do.
2) do you want flight time?
3) how quickly do you want to upgrade?
If you choose something like DTW, you will fly.... a lot... and you can upgrade at 1000hrs SIC.
If you choose something like DEN, you may not fly as much, and definitely won’t be able to hold the base when you upgrade (which will take longer).
You really have to tell us what your goals are for a better idea.
