I did regionals (Envoy) and walked away with 2300 121, basically 1000 121 PIC in about 2 year 9 months or so.
left for a 91 gig and am super happy with my decision. Straight into a G500 CA position and also flying a helo. Basically mainline legacy narrowbody pay but with more time off, better benefits and live in base somewhere I actually want to live.
For reference I had about 12 months left to flow to AA.
There’s not a one size fits all solution, but i will say that regional time and particularly 121 PIC has made things a heck of a lot easier especially when negotiating my pay package.
