These numbers are at the least inaccurate.
It doesn’t take 2.5 years to get 1000sic, even at 80hr/mo it would only take 12.5 months after training so 15 months starting from zero.
And that’s if you don’t try to push it. My first line was 85 block, 3 weeks off of IOE.
Math is hard.
So, I take it your LGA based on The ERJ? That's the only way you could have held a line three weeks after IOE. I was ORD based after training and sat reserve for three months and only flew 20 hours a month. I knew guys who flew even less during the winter months on reserve.
So in that first year, time building can be low on the ERJ.
The CRJ is totally different which my guess you are. If you actually read any replies on this thread you would see what I stated is not misinformation.
