However, the reasoning for waiting 2 years after an AQP bust isn’t the bust itself, it’s that an AQP failure requires 2 years of special tracking. So, my understanding is, we would have to put you in special tracking just to get you in our AQP program without having any issues here.

Special Tracking is 1 year at my 121 as long as you pass your 2 Ground, 2 MV/LOE and 1 Line Check within the 12 months footprint. It might be airline dependent as not every 121 has the same FAA approved AQP Level.
