I’m certainly no “clown”. I don’t think a professional negotiator will automatically get everything we want. But management has professionals and they certainly don’t give a $&@k about how upset the employees are. If members of the union are concerned about being individually targeted, then we should have people who CAN’T be targeted because they are not employees.
