So listen. A12 is NOT a guaranteed seat of you check on to late and the “E” seats are gone. Because it is not a guaranteed seat you must leave yourself 2 flight options as per the Good Faith Commuter Policy.
See, I do read the contract and have experience with this exact situation. Leave yourself 2 flight options and you won’t have a problem.
A12 is business travel. Subsection d deals with business travel.
Jump seating/OAL deals with subsection c.
As long as you use your A passes to get to and from NY you are covered by d and PAY PROTECTED If you live somewhere else that doesn’t have AA/eagle flights and you have to use jumpy seating to get to work then you are subject to subsection c — the commuter policy. Makes sense? If you are still confused then contact the union and they will help set you straight.
