True - although they said there was also an outside chance for an announcement at the Paris Air Show. Up until the big IAG order for 200 MAX in Paris recently I wasn’t sure if we would see any big fleet replacement orders (the full Vueling fleet of 120 A320/19s are due to be replaced by the MAX). Now it is clear that Boeing is ready to negotiate harder after the MAX setbacks and no doubt winning a huge volume order from Spirit (maybe join SWA with the MAX 7 for the thinner or development routes and the MAX 9 or 10 for the trunk routes) would be viewed as a strong vote of confidence in the MAX platform...

Obviously this is all speculative at this point. No doubt some hard negotiating going on to the benefit of Spirit and the shareholders with the lowest price possible for any order. Look forward to any updates!
