ya, I'm pretty sure nobody in hiring thinks meeting the normal standard and preferred qualifications says you were "brainwashed by a bunch of extreme left ideas". Plenty of right leaning major airline pilots. On top of that, pilots are a pretty homogeneous group and that's a good thing. Safety depends on our like mindedness to look after each other. Would you prefer one who is adaptable to meet the standard or one who rebelled over political philosophy?

they literally ask 'Tell Me About A Time' questions man, real world experience matters a lot as a predictor of your future performance. Ideally, it would be germaine to the discussion. Your business acumen is commendable, but not really relatable to the discussion of airline pilot in all it's aspects. They're hiring a pilot, not a CEO.
