I'm not sure that Delta didn't like the 145. YX was planning to spool down the 145 program, and that was well known. DL exercised an option to extend the contract 5 years, and Bedford said, no thanks and went to the bankruptcy court to dump it. That's how we ended up dragging planes out of the desert in 2016.
