Sorry if I don't want to expend any negotiating capital on easing commuting, but that will never make my list. The fact that we can live virtually wherever we want is an unbelievable benefit when compared to any job elsewhere, it doesn't need to be further enhanced at the expense of those of us that chose to live where we work.
I commute and I agree completely. Make boarding STRICTLY by years of service for active and retired people and most problems go away.
