Just like if you pick up open time and your line is worth less than guarantee you don’t get paid for any portion until you hit 75 hours. Who the hell would agree to that! I don’t know of any other airlines that work that way.

2. 96% of us agreed to that.
3. Stupid? No. It’s a long story and has a very real purpose.
4. Then maybe don’t pick up open time...
