Just like if you pick up open time and your line is worth less than guarantee you don’t get paid for any portion until you hit 75 hours. Who the hell would agree to that! I don’t know of any other airlines that work that way.
Well, You agreed to that track. When you hired on. I will grant that you may not have appreciated all the nuisance of working for a trucking company. It’s so much better now it would boggle your mind. I think you will find a great explanation from Salty
on the reason we have this in the contract.
