100% correct. Just read AOM 1 and you'll be fine. Did I say read AOM 1! The lack of training could be a real NTSB finding if and when we have a major issue. A lot of folks that think they can just get the gouge end up in a bad spot when the oral is done. IMHO the oral should be after the sim training, we'd have fewer issues.
