And the real irony is someone who is so well versed in capitalistic principles that he is actually arguing that changing the way people are compensated WOULDN'T change anyone's behavior.
I am not trying to control how people bid. I just am promoting an industry standard practice, something that even out flight attendants get, to compensate people for working over holidays. It will change the way people bid but even if it doesn't, will provide a monetary compensation for those who couldn't manage to bid it off.
