We are doing some crazy all nighters now too. Doing all night turns! I would agree that doing the one leg east to west 24 hrs off then West to East is not to bad. But Leaving FLL at 11pm flying to Ponce and back to get in a 5am is not fun. We are also doing these to Santa Domingo, San Perdro Sula, Managua, and I am sure there are more. The other really bad one is the 2 legger from FLL to Guatamala City to LAX, and the Reverse!
That LAX-GUA-FLL is done as of next month.
I don't mind the turns at night, as long as they keep them like that in line. Keep the cycle. None of that late night show, time off, then early morning stuff. Also when I WAS based in DTW, loved the one leg out to LAS/LAX, or SFO, 24 off then home. Paid 12 hours for on top of that!!!(and if I picked it up out of open time, 18 hours!!!).
NOW LIMA, that is NOT fun at ALL!!! That took a lot out of me the other night/morning. Drooling the whole way home on the commute (BTW, thx as always NWA!!!)
