I'd like to say they were having a bad day, but we witnessed it two days in a row from the same people, both with us and others. My wife speaks fluent Spanish, so there definitely wasn't a language barrier. The operation there seemed to be dysfuntional and they are short with everyone. Of course as a nonrever I had to shut up and color in fear I wouldn't get a seat assignment, but if I had been on a paid ticket, I would have let one particular agent have it good for his behavior. Anyone else have that experience there?
Not in MAD in particular, but I feel this same sentiment for customer service as a whole at AA with our front facing customer service people. I also have witnessed it while non-revving and working, and it is very embarrassing. AA falls short in many areas with customer service IMO. I get it, the general public can be aggravating to deal with, but our CS people seem to be rude with our passengers right off the bat.
