My experience:
My first month of bidding 757, I got a normal line. It has a blend of hotel standby and trips. I could have held bottom of secondary. Depending on when you finish IOE, and how many are in your class, you might avoid reserve all together. But that’s just one guy. Most in my class sat at least a month of A or B reserve.
The 757 will have the quickest seniority progression as this position bid rolls out. About 75% of the 57Fs bid out. In a year, a new hire, post bid, can expect to be roughly 40% in seat.
757 upgrades were as low as 15 months on the last position bid.
