I would count on commuting in the night before and going home the day after your reserve periods at least half the time. Thats probably 4 days traveling on your 12 days off. Our reserve system really is best for people that live in base...for commuters its awful. Commuting at this airline actually makes a great job just "meh" unless you have enough seniority to safely get the jump seat every commute.
