It's not a bad place at all. Fill a room with pilots and money, there will be some kind of complaint.

Even at $19 an hour I made $28K my first year at SKW where as the above pilot made it at RAH making $23. In my first full year with SKW I made $51,619.78 which included 4 months at first year pay ($19/hr) and 8 months at second. I achieved this number by only flying 879 hours and averaging 15 days off a month. An understanding of the system and the ability to work it can maximize time off and income potential. It's not hard with stand-ups, deadheads, duty guarantees, daily guarantees, open time, holiday pay and getting displaced for IOE (then picking up open time at %150 pay on top of the credit for the displaced trip).

First year pay is going to be raised to around $24 in January.

Yes, we at SKW drink a lot of Kool-Aid, but Mgmnt has NEVER giving us a good reason not to have faith in them. Regardless of what you or others may say the majority of the industry dreams of a relationship like what we have.

So "Bottoms Up!"
