Nah, we're not that bad compared to them. We have better commuter hotels, our OT is better. It's not rainbows and unicorns there either.
Right now, PSA has the best deal, we are a bit behind, and PDT is still at the bottom by a considerable margin.
Next few months will show how this will change at ENY, I think OT starts going senior again and that hoses the 1-2 year FOs.
OT going senior? How many FOs are there that are over two years? They won’t stay FOs if they are picking up OT. As it is I think most people that are displaced to captain are picking up everything they can at captain pay while they are in a position to do so as a “senior” FO. I guess that is OT going senior but this pay raise won’t change that unless the LOA paying captain pay upon award snuck out with this deal as well.
This whole thing is about what I expected. A bit of a pay raise, but not much. It’s all smoke and mirrors and just shuffling around the same money. FOs didn’t get much. Captains didn’t really get much more.
