I guess that is OT going senior but this pay raise won’t change that unless the LOA paying captain pay upon award snuck out with this deal as well.
This whole thing is about what I expected. A bit of a pay raise, but not much. It’s all smoke and mirrors and just shuffling around the same money. FOs didn’t get much. Captains didn’t really get much more.
On the 175? 25-30, a few have been displaced but are waiting for training like that 10 year FO. And they do pick up most of the valuable stuff. The way they work is they get the day trip lines, they drop/P2P away from them (there's always a ton of MRY/FCA/STS/SBP trips available for P2P pickups), and then pick up OT around those days.
Keeps block time lower but pay about the same for them.
After this, I think even the 2-3 hour trips start to go more senior.
The biggest "winners" are the pilots who start in class this Monday. Immediate 50.21/hr, and the old signup bonus check. The B band Captains deserved more, but many of them are so close to flowing they won't leave.
