Serious answer,

If you look in the EFB guide, this mount is specifically listed and pictured as an approved mount. In fact there are two alternative methods that are approved other than the one mounted in the airplane. So yes to answer your question with a Fed on board it is 100% perfectly legal just as the main company Mount. It is approved in our manuals just the same.
