Jump seat Listing etiquette
Newbie question;
Trying to look through the contract and the trip guide about listing for the Primary and Alternate jumpsest. Obviously being a new hire I am now new to commuting and learning the ropes. I was looking at some flights last night and saw a few people listed for the jumpseat on more than one flights. For example one person was listed as the primary on a 7:45pm flight and than as the Alternate for the 9:55pm flight. I also saw another doing the same thing but was the Alternate on the earlier flight and the primary on the later flight.
Is this frowned upon (listing for more than one flight on the same day?) If I encounter this I have no problem calling them out as long as I know the reference, but If they continue the practice, what is the best course of action...union first, than company?
Just trying to understand the right way of doing things and trying to make my commute as easy as I can and having someone listing for multiple flights especially the jumpseat makes it harder to plan the commute.
Thanks for your advice in advance.
