If you want to sit on reserve and not fly, this isn’t the place for you.
If you want to fly and make some good $$$$, come on aboard. You’ll fly and fly A lot. The lines in CAE are mostly 4 days with decent block. There are some 4 days. Which are actually 3 since you take the last flight from ORD and get into CAE after midnight.
I credit anywhere from 87-95 hours a month and get around 14 days off. I drive the 1:30 to CAE and don’t mind it a bit. I commuted for 19 years altogether in my airline career and hated commuting. I no longer have to worry about full flights, delays, cancellations or getting stuck and not able to find a hotel or commuting up the day before and not finding a hotel.
It’s nice to know when I block in, I’ll still be home in less than two hours instead of t e 4-5 when I commuted. Plus I always know I’m getting home at the end of each trip.
