If you are non-military, you might as well forget AA off the street. It's all flows and military, and very, very few (like, 2%) OTS guys.
That being said, by the end of the year, the percentage that AA hires that are flows will decrease. There will be approximately 5-10 per month that will be made up with OTS hires. Envoy goes from 29 to 20 around the first of the year and then up slightly to 22-25 per month about this time next year.

Unless you see AA as your only end goal and think you have issues that will prevent being hired otherwise, you have to ask yourself if the back pocket flow is worth it, eight to ten years from now and keep in mind it is NOT GUARANTEED even then.

Southwest just announced a partner program for “less qualified” (rotor, Navs, WSOs) (still military though) pilots. The industry is changing.
