If I remember correctly this is sort of a "pay for job" type deal. You are flying aerial survey routes and paying them basically fuel for the twin time. By being always booked 6 months in advance and having people line up for the time they are getting not only free pilots but their planes operational costs paid for.
This may not be the same company and may run different but I believe this to be the case
