There are multiple lists. I've seen screenshots of at least 3. I suspect these are mostly personal lists that someone has shared with a friend, who shared with another pilot, who shared to a chat somewhere...and now they've gone "viral". Having seen a few different lists, I can tell you one thing; almost all the names are the same. This isn't a coincidence.
Wanna see the "list"? Just go into FLICA and look at the FO open time. You'll see lots of sweet trips with the
same names always attached to them. Almost every time I see a decent trip in DOT, I know why it's there. A quick click and check of the CA and I'd say 90% of the time my suspicions are confirmed.
I know the names, and I always give these pilots a chance; not once have I added someone to my no fly without actually flying with them. That being said, I've never been given bad info either...it's been my experience most of the warnings from others were valid.
Here's a novel idea...if your name is appearing on lists, you're always flying with RSV FO's, and pro-standards has talked to you 10 times...maybe stop being a **** to fly with. List or no list, FO's know who you are. Problem is I suspect most of these people don't care. As a matter of fact, I've literally had a few of these pilots tell me that FO's don't like them while we were on a trip.
All that being said, it's important to state that those pilots are in an extreme minority here. With the exception of a few bad apples, this is the best group of pilots I've ever had the pleasure of flying with. Hopefully Pro Standards starts taking more aggressive action on the names that keep coming across their desk over and over... until then, people talk.
