I'm still betting that in 10-15 years we will see what we call "majors" flying primarily international and transcon operations. They will outsource most if not all of their domestic feed to "jet carrier affiliates." Whether they do it as direct feed with the same colors on the tail or as a "codeshare" to get around scope, its going to happen. The domestic market is not profitable at the cost structure legacy carries operate in the long term. Of course, I also think SWA is going to be in big trouble in 10-15 as well.
