Haha..the straps...I remember being a brand new FO and a certain CA told me that her bag would be strapped in on the jumpseat straps because she wants to have access to her things in flight without having to reach behind her. This was back when the EMK was up front so I could not place my bag in the corner behind me, so I had to strap my bag behind hers.
I remember thinking "the one thing I have as an FO is the more accessible bag storage, and she just took that away from me too"

Guessing. Who cares about you as long as she can reach her ham sandwich .. haha. Thankfully we have very few at this airline . But we have some real doozies .
