If they are upgrading more quickly now it won't last... there's no more regional flying to be had without scope relaxations, and logic dictates that many or most pilots are lazy and will sit tight and wait for flow. Especially the ones who are not competitive OTS, many of whom have flocked to AA WO's.
envoy has been forcing upgrades on and off for a year and a half from what i have been told. about 1100 CAs and like 300 leave in a year just for AA. i have met several former eagle guys and gals while jumpseating on DL, NK, and UA (so movement outside AA) of all the things bad at the WOs, movement is not one of them
