Seat locks have been a catalyst for 330 vacancies going to new hires...over half the 717 FO list is seat locked.. same goes for the 321..
Once those seat lock numbers dwindle, I wouldn't expect there would be many new hires heading to the 330..
With the 787 coming soon, I suspect you'll see a lot of senior 330FO's bid over, opening 330 FO slots for the formerly seat locked 717 FO's and some 321 FO's.
IMO new hires in the next couple years will see primarily 717/321 openings.
