There’s nothing ‘wrong’ with V-Bars. It’s just a preference. Having flown both I definitely prefer the dual-cue so I’m glad we’re finally switching over. Later this year one of our newest -8s will be delivered with the dual-cue and that’s when they’ll switch the rest of the current 74 fleet over.
This is me using a V-Bar flight director at night and when tired (so pretty much most of the time. 
)
