Indy doesnt care if you wear jeans, they say as much in day 1-3. Just wear nice jeans if you do for your own benefit to not appear unprofessional. You’re there for a few weeks/months, they’ll make assumptions early on and thats your reputation to people who you want to pass you. Flight safety is different, jeans are not allowed (i wore jeans so i was scolded) and you will be told as such. Other than that it never comes up again, youll switch instructors so much they wont know, polo shirts and slacks are the norm. Washouts from my class struggled from situational awareness and automation management. Training isnt bad, you have a set schedule, see the same people every day, Dont deal with irops, And get paid. Do what you need to do to pass and then enjoy your break between loe and ioe. You probably wont get 3-4 weeks paid off again until retirement.
