I agree that first year pay is rough but would you say the same things in regards to first year pay about Hawaiian or UPS , both Lower than Spirit? I imagine more people here are sympathetic to our new hire pay issues than other places.
Hawaiian's is criminally low lol.. Ups, yeah, same story.. $10 less than spirit 1st yr pay, but $70 more than spirit second year pay.. Yeah I don't expect sympathy at all.. I know anyone over 35 civilian has probably seen $19 first yr so... Yeah.. I get it. I can make the life adjustment if I have to.. I just got a little defensive when it was insinuated that its a debt/money mgmt issue. You can be debt free all you want.. $57 an hour is gonna be tough to support a family on in California
