Management loves the “its better than my regional” philosophy. It’s what got us our stellar (sarcastic) new contract where on reserve we lost all qol. The more people they hire with this philosophy the more the bar is lowered every time come contract negotiations. I also agree that we will start struggling to find new hires again, unless other airlines stop hiring completely.
