It actually wasnt. Hadn't flown in years but they quietly worked it up and got a ferry permit to fly it nonstop to Atlanta. It was down south of PHX for 15 or so years without flying.
The big problem is that while yes Coolidge AZ is miserably hot, they're going to have to keep that thing in good shape in humid wet damp Atlanta.
