This is a voluntary program...but is it “volunteer” service when you get paid for it?

So a capt can get paid $1000 for a day, which is about $125/hr for unskilled “volunteer” work....seems pretty expensive to me.

Agree, it is the right thing to do, with Delta’s core principles and all, and there will be “benefits” accrued for being a “righteous business”....but still something seems out of sync to call it volunteer service and then want to get paid for it.

JMHO....not throwing ANY stones, just find it interesting to ponder
