I agree. My point is simply that if there are enough pilots to fly them market forces will dictate that smaller aircraft will continue to service smaller markets. Servicing a smaller city with one or two flights per day on a larger plane might sound good but won’t work. Too many obstacles in the hub and spoke model. You would extend a lot of flights for passengers to multi-day trips with huge layovers at hubs. It would invite the LCCs, etc. to start flying the smaller aircraft and quickly the customer will get what they demand. It’s a service industry.
