Next day they again were advertising a Hawker PIC position he called them back they say “it’s only SIC”. Rumor they get you to sign 1 year contract pay you SIC wages then promote you next month or two to PIC and refuse to renegotiate pay under the pretext they have to get approval from aircraft owner.
All of the above correct. I was offered PIC in Hawker for under market rate. They wanted a $20,000 contract for me to do recurrent.
I explained to their HR person that I had just done recurrent for another 135 a few months prior and would only have to do a quick recurrent under their certificate. She still wanted a $20k loan / contract.
Good companies do not need to hold you hostage.
