I think some like to point out deficiencies so that other pilots, the "just happy to be here" types have an opportunity to at least begin to understand that things need improvement and to have higher expectations for next time. Otherwise, those same guys will just continue to say "we're not Delta" during every contract negotiations because they are still "just happy to be here" and culture and stuff.

Telling guys not to complain has never made a future CBA better, at any time in history, that I'm aware of.
