Ok thanks for that good info. So, for example, you are saying this: I could be sitting at my home in the middle of Georgia on a day off that was a scheduled day off per my awarded monthly rsv schedule and the company could contact me on this day off and tell me I have to be in BOS ready to take an assignment at 0800 the next day even if that day was my day off also? Essentially changing my schedule and giving me zero predictability in my life and scrambling to get in place?
Or are you saying this: I commute into BOS to be in position for my scheduled rsv RAP. I get to BOS and they change the RAP from the morning to the evening or vice versa? And then continue changing it each day while I sit in a BOS crashpad? Then if I don't get assigned I go home at the end of my rsv stint?
I think that's all in Contract 2022
They cannot contact you ( unless you answer and say 'yes') and change your sched while on your days off.
We're all describing the ability for the company to adjust/ screw your schedule while you're already at work.
While it's possible to have your RSV run into your days off, doesn't happen too often. And if it does, it triggers ( past certain clock hours) additional pay, or day off, etc.
These new RSV rules are new to us too. It's going to take a couple of months for all of us to figure out how this will affect us, but currently not optimistic ( coming from someone who has bid RSV for several years). I'm glad the Co didn't apply these new rules during Nov or Dec...imagine the riots
