I agree, numbers change when you go comparing 220s to the 320N. The 320 numbers are good anyways because of size, the 320N is 20% better on fuel burn than 320 with more seats than a 223.That's a big change.
The 225 is too long, overall performance wont match the 320 and neither will cargo capacity (from what I've read). I think that is why Airbus said no to 225, not to mention all the business aspects of it. But while people latched on to Airbus saying there was bright future to the 220 they missed the part where Airbus said this year that the 319 is still superior to the 223. Thats a sign they're not going to embrace something that isnt theirs.
