Thanks for the response and info. About sums it up. For the schedule though, I'm wondering about days worked in a row followed by days off. E.G. 4 on 3 off; 3 on 3 off; etc. I imagine it can vary significantly depending on base, but just trying to gauge what can be expected roughly for worst case scenarios.
