You’re overthinking it. It’s simple, XJT = 175, Commutair = 145. They have different sweet spots/mission sets and you need both in these markets to get to smaller outstations. United needs both.

We will see other 175 tails besides the new aircraft here soon at XJT. Economics benefit having each airline focus on a single type.
