What would stand in the way of just merging the two companies? Eliminate 1/2 the overhead. Dozens of CA qualified pilots offset Commutair’s problems, hundreds of younger pilots balance the pilot force at XJT. New contract negotiated, match WO pay, boom United feeder problem solved.
So now you admit that there is a value to having some experienced pilots. You can’t grow regionals in this market without retaining some experience.
