Other than buy a plane....fly like hell for 300 hrs....good luck. Insurance will likely limit you.
Some place would occasionally let you "pay for training" then hire you as a banner tow pilot for the summer (honestly, few people under 4-500 hrs have developed the skills to do it yet) but with summer ending, those options are pretty much gone....
Honestly, you will learn an incredible amount from teaching and watching others make mistakes...
Additionally, it's a bit of a primer for future work in a two person cockpit, becoming a company instructor, check airman, etc.... honestly, a former CFI working as a pilot DOES have skills that pay dividends, even once you move on.
