Just because another carrier is renewing their fleet on a different schedule does not mean Delta should. Korean's aircraft purchase was largely replacements for older aircraft. Delta keeps their airplanes around 30 years. Carriers like Virgin and Korean renew every 10-15 years.

When you don't have a fundamental understanding of airline economics and the status of yields in certain theatres you will get your clock cleaned by management everytime. If you want to beat management you have to be able to think and act like them. When you start of a debate with "dude" it shows you're more in tune with emotion vs the realities of the airline business
